Walking
From the center of Mtskheta, head towards the main square, known as Svetitskhoveli Cathedral Plaza. Once you reach the plaza, walk straight towards the main street, which is called Erekle II Street. Follow this street as it leads towards the Mtkvari River. As you approach the river, you will see a bridge on your left. Cross the bridge, and you will be in Tbilisi. After crossing the bridge, take the first right onto Mikheil Zandukeli Street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and the Shota Rustaveli Monument will be on your left at 2 Mikheil Zandukeli St.
Public Transport
If you prefer to use public transport, walk to the bus station located near the main square of Mtskheta. Take a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Tbilisi. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Tbilisi, get off at the stop nearest to Rustaveli Avenue. From there, walk towards Mikheil Zandukeli Street, which is about a 15-minute walk. The Shota Rustaveli Monument will be at 2 Mikheil Zandukeli St on your right.
