Walking
From the center of Mtskheta, head southwest towards the main square (Mtskheta's central square). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road (Tbilisi-Mtskheta road). Turn left and walk for about 15-20 minutes until you see a bus stop. Here, you can catch a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Tbilisi. Get on the marshrutka that has 'Tbilisi' written on it. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Tbilisi center. Once you get off, walk towards Rustaveli Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Zhiuli Shartava Street. The Tbilisi City Hall will be on your left at 16-18-19, 7 Zhiuli Shartava St.

Starting from Mtskheta, walk to the main bus station located near the central square. Look for the marshrutka that goes to Tbilisi. The fare is usually quite affordable. Once you board, tell the driver to drop you off near the Tbilisi City Hall or look for landmarks such as Rustaveli Avenue.
