Begin your journey by taking a marshrutka (minibus) from the city of Zugdidi to Mestia. The marshrutkas leave regularly and the trip takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Mestia, transfer to another marshrutka that goes to Ushguli. This leg of the journey will take about 2 hours. The Ushguli Ethnographic Museum is located in the village of Ushguli, specifically at W275+VMX, which is usually a short walk from the marshrutka drop-off point.
