Car
From Stone Mountain Park, head south on Main Street towards East Mountain Street. Turn right onto East Mountain Street and continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 78. Merge onto Highway 78 East and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 8 for Lawrenceville Highway and turn left onto Lawrenceville Highway. After approximately 6 miles, turn right onto East Park Place Boulevard and follow it until you reach the exit for I-285. Merge onto I-285 North and continue for about 15 miles. Take exit 31B for US-78 East and merge onto US-78 East. Continue for about 50 miles, then take exit 103 for I-85 North towards Greenville. After about 25 miles, take exit 98 for GA-316 East towards Lawrenceville. Continue straight for about 15 miles, then take the exit for State Route 20 East. Follow the signs to Goshavank Monastery, which will be approximately 5 miles from the exit.
Public Transportation
From Stone Mountain, take the MARTA train from the Kensington Station towards the Airport. Get off at the Five Points Station and transfer to the Greyhound Bus service. Purchase a ticket to the nearest bus terminal that services Goshavank Monastery. The bus ride may take up to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the bus terminal, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Goshavank Monastery, as it is not easily accessible by foot.
