Getting There

  • Car

    From Stone Mountain Park, head south on Main Street towards East Mountain Street. Turn right onto East Mountain Street and continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 78. Merge onto Highway 78 East and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 8 for Lawrenceville Highway and turn left onto Lawrenceville Highway. After approximately 6 miles, turn right onto East Park Place Boulevard and follow it until you reach the exit for I-285. Merge onto I-285 North and continue for about 15 miles. Take exit 31B for US-78 East and merge onto US-78 East. Continue for about 50 miles, then take exit 103 for I-85 North towards Greenville. After about 25 miles, take exit 98 for GA-316 East towards Lawrenceville. Continue straight for about 15 miles, then take the exit for State Route 20 East. Follow the signs to Goshavank Monastery, which will be approximately 5 miles from the exit.
