Missak Manouchian Park: Yerevan's Urban Oasis

Missak Manouchian Park, inaugurated on May 13, 2014, stands as a tribute to Missak Manouchian, a celebrated French-Armenian poet and a hero of the French Resistance. This urban sanctuary provides a serene escape in the bustling city center of Yerevan. The park's landscape is thoughtfully designed with extensive green spaces, inviting walking paths, and comfortable benches, creating a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation and leisurely strolls. Families, couples, and individuals frequent the park to unwind and connect with nature. Beyond its natural beauty, Missak Manouchian Park serves as a cultural focal point, showcasing public art installations and historical monuments that reflect Armenia's rich heritage. The park provides a space for quiet reflection, cultural appreciation, and community engagement. The park was opened in the middle part of Aram, Buzand, Koghbatsi streets and Mashtots avenue. The park occupies an area of about 20,000 square meters and features nearly 10,000 trees, bushes and flowers. An illuminated fountain complex consisting of 600 water jets makes it possible to hold water shows with illumination accompanied by music.
