Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Mtatsminda, start by walking towards the Funicular Station located at 41.6945° N, 44.7852° E. From there, you can take the funicular railway up to the top of Mtatsminda Mountain. The ride will cost approximately 2 GEL (Georgian Lari) one way. Once you reach the top, exit the funicular and follow the path leading to the Mtatsminda Pantheon, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Look for signs directing you to the Pantheon, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

• Funicular

  Begin your journey at the bottom of the Mtatsminda Funicular Station. Purchase a ticket (2 GEL) from the ticket booth. Board the funicular, which will take you directly to the top of Mtatsminda Mountain. After disembarking, walk straight ahead and follow the pathway signs to reach the Mtatsminda Pantheon. The pathway is well-marked and offers beautiful views of Tbilisi, making it a pleasant walk.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer taking public transport, you can catch bus number 91 from various points in Tbilisi that lead to Mtatsminda. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Mtatsminda stop. Once you get off the bus, walk up the hill towards the Pantheon, which should take about 15 minutes. Keep an eye out for local signs directing you to the Pantheon.

• Taxi (Walking Distance)

  For those who may want a short taxi ride, you can book a ride using a local app or hail one on the street. Ask the driver to take you to the Mtatsminda Pantheon. Since the Pantheon is a well-known location, most drivers will be familiar with it. The fare should be relatively inexpensive, but ensure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
