Walking
If you are in the Mtatsminda area, the Symbolic monument of Tbilisi-city is within a short walking distance. Start at the main entrance of the Mtatsminda Park. Head towards the main path leading downhill. As you walk, keep an eye out for directional signs pointing towards Maro Makashvili Rise. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Maro Makashvili Rise. Turn right onto Maro Makashvili Rise and continue for about 200 meters. The monument will be visible on your left side. The entire walk should take around 15-20 minutes.

Funicular
From the Mtatsminda Park, you can also take the funicular to the bottom of the hill. To do this, locate the funicular station within the park. Purchase a ticket (approximately 2 GEL) at the ticket booth. Ride the funicular down, and once you exit, turn left and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach Maro Makashvili Rise. The Symbolic monument of Tbilisi-city will be on your left. This option provides a scenic view as you descend.
