Car
From Uplistsikhe, head south on the main road (E117) towards the town of Gori. Continue for approximately 12 km until you reach the junction for the Mtkvari River Bridge. Take a left turn at the junction onto the road leading to Manglisi. Drive for about 20 km, following the signs for Manglisi. You will pass through the town of Manglisi. Once you reach the center of Manglisi, continue straight until you see the 'Manglisi Sioni' cathedral on your left. There is usually parking available near the cathedral.

From Uplistsikhe, you will need to take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Tbilisi from the main bus stop in Gori. The marshrutkas leave frequently. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Manglisi. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes, and the fare is typically around 2-3 GEL. Once you arrive in Manglisi, walk towards the center where you will find the 'Manglisi Sioni' cathedral. It is within walking distance from the drop-off point.
