From Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn S5, S7, or S75 towards the direction of Alexanderplatz. Get off at the Friedrichstrasse station (around 4 minutes). From Friedrichstrasse, transfer to the U-Bahn U6 line towards Alt-Tegel and get off at the next stop, Stadtmitte (about 2 minutes). Once you exit Stadtmitte station, walk towards Friedrichstraße and take a right. Continue straight until you reach Koppenplatz (about 10 minutes). The Mahnmal Der verlassene Raum is located at Koppenplatz, 10115 Berlin.
