Walking
The Waldmops sculptures are spread throughout the Altstadt (Old Town) and Neustadt (New Town) areas of Brandenburg an der Havel, making walking the most practical way to discover them. From the Neustädtischer Markt (New Town Market), head east along Hauptstraße, keeping an eye out for the sculptures along side streets and squares. From the Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the Altstadt, where more Waldmöpse can be found. The Touristinformation Brandenburg, located at Neustädtischer Markt 3, offers a free map marking the general areas where the sculptures are located.
Public Transport
If arriving at Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), you can take Tram line 6 towards Anton-Saefkow-Allee to the Nicolaiplatz stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Altstadt and Neustadt areas where the Waldmops sculptures are located. A single ticket for public transport within Brandenburg an der Havel costs €2.50. Alternatively, a 24-hour ticket costs €5.30.
Parking
If arriving by car, parking is available at the St. Annen Galerie parking garage, located near the Altstadt and Marktplatz (Market Square). Access is via Deutsches Dorf street. Parking fees vary, but expect to pay around €1.50-€2.50 per hour. Several other parking lots are available in the city center, including Nicolaiplatz and Neuendorfer Straße. Park and Ride options are also available for €2.50, which includes a parking ticket and a public transport ticket for two people.
