    From Medienhafen, head east towards the river. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the intersection with Worringer Straße. Turn left onto Worringer Straße and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the junction with Universitätsstraße, turn right. The Botanical Garden will be on your left at Universitätsstraße 1. It's about a 20-minute walk.

    From Medienhafen, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is called 'Düsseldorf, Worringer Platz / Jan-Wellem-Platz.' Take tram line 707 heading towards 'Düsseldorf, Wuppertaler Straße.' This is a short ride of about 5 minutes. You will need to get off at 'Düsseldorf, Universität.' Once you exit the tram, head east on Universitätsstraße for a short walk. The Botanical Garden will be a few minutes away at Universitätsstraße 1. A single ticket on the tram costs approximately €2.90.
