If you are traveling by car within the Eifel region, you can easily reach Nürburg Castle by following the A1 highway. Start by heading towards the A1 and exit at 'Nürburg' (exit 125). Follow the signs for Nürburg (B258) and then turn onto 'Nürburgstraße' which will lead you directly to the castle. There is parking available near the castle, but expect to pay a small fee of around €2-€3 for parking.

To reach Nürburg Castle via public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is 'Adenau.' From Adenau, you can catch a local bus (line 280) that goes to Nürburg. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Nürburg, the castle is a short 15-minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited on weekends and holidays.

If you arrive in Nürburg via bus, exit at the 'Nürburg' bus stop. From there, walk along 'Nürburgstraße' which turns into a dirt path leading up to the castle. The walk is about 1.2 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes. Wear comfortable shoes as the path can be steep in some areas.
