A single ticket (Einzelticket) within Essen (Tarifgebiet Essen) costs approximately €2.90. Alternatively, use bus line 183 and exit at 'Kohlenwäsche' or 'Kokerei Zollverein' stops.

A taxi or ride-share from Essen Hauptbahnhof to Zollverein will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is between €20-€30.

If driving, enter 'Fritz-Schupp-Allee, 45309 Essen' into your navigation system to reach the main entrance and parking areas for the Coal Mine. For the Coking Plant, use 'Arendahls Wiese, 45141 Essen'. Free parking is available at car parks A1, A2, and B (Coal Mine) and car park C (Coking Plant). Note that the Zollverein parking deck in Area C (Coking Plant) charges €1.80/hour, with a day ticket costing €7.50; payment is by EC card only.
