  • Public Transport - U-Bahn

    If you are near the city center, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U4 towards HafenCity Universität. Get off at the 'HafenCity Universität' station. After exiting the station, follow the signs for the exit towards 'Koreastraße'. Once you are outside, walk straight ahead along Koreastraße for about 5 minutes, and you will find the International Maritime Museum Hamburg on your right.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    You can take bus number 111 from the city center. Board the bus at 'Rathausmarkt' and get off at the 'Am Sandtorkai' stop. From there, walk east along Am Sandtorkai for about 3 minutes until you reach the intersection with Koreastraße. Turn left onto Koreastraße, and the International Maritime Museum Hamburg will be on your right after a short walk.

  • Walking

    If you are staying at a hotel in the city center, you can also walk to the museum. Head towards the Elbphilharmonie, which is a prominent landmark. From the Elbphilharmonie, walk along the waterfront towards the south, then turn left onto Koreastraße. The museum is located at Koreastraße 1, and it will take you about 15-20 minutes to walk there.

    If you want a scenic route, consider taking the ferry. Board the HVV ferry line 62 from 'Landungsbrücken' towards 'Finkenwerder'. Get off at 'Elbphilharmonie' stop. After disembarking, walk along the promenade towards the east for about 10 minutes, then turn left onto Koreastraße. The International Maritime Museum Hamburg will be on your right.
