From Bismarckplatz, a central transportation hub in Heidelberg, walk east along Hauptstrasse (the main street) towards the Old Bridge. The Stadttor is located at the eastern end of Hauptstrasse, right before you cross the Old Bridge. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes and is mostly flat. No special transport or tolls are required.

Alternatively, from Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main station), take tram 24 to the 'Bismarckplatz' stop and follow the walking directions.
