Public Transport
If you are starting from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn (S2, S3, S4, S6, S7, or S8) to Marienplatz station. Once you arrive at Marienplatz, exit the station and follow the signs towards the main square. As you come out, you will be facing the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus). The Cathedral of St. Peter (Peterskirche) is a short walk from here. Head left towards the church steeple you can see in the distance, and walk straight for about 5 minutes. The cathedral is located at Peterspl. 1, which is directly at the square.

Walking
If you're in the vicinity of Marienplatz, simply walk towards the New Town Hall. From the square, walk toward the direction of the tower of the Cathedral of St. Peter, which is easily visible from here. You can either take the left street from Marienplatz (Dienerstraße) or the right (Weinstraße). Both will lead you to Petersplatz where the cathedral is located. It should take about 5 minutes on foot.

Tram
You can take tram line 19 from any stop along its route towards Pasing. Get off at the stop called 'Sankt Peter' which is near the Cathedral. From the tram stop, walk straight ahead to reach Peterspl. 1 in just a few minutes.

Metro
If you are near the Sendlinger Tor station, take U2 or U8 metro lines towards Sendling. Change at Marienplatz station if needed to continue towards Petersplatz. Once you exit at Marienplatz, follow the walking directions provided above.
