Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn Line S8 or S7 towards Leuchtenbergring and get off at the Isartor stop. From Isartor, walk east along Widenmayerstraße for about 10 minutes until you reach the Englischer Garten park entrance. Once in the park, head towards the north side of the park. Follow the paths until you arrive at the Eisbach river, where you will find the Kleine Eisbachwelle surf spot.

    If you are near the Marienplatz, start by walking south towards Sendlinger Straße. Turn left at Sendlinger Straße and continue onto Widenmayerstraße. This route will take approximately 20 minutes. Keep walking along the riverbank, and you will eventually see the Kleine Eisbachwelle where surfers practice.
