    From Potsdam, head to the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). You can take the S7 or RE1 train to Berlin. Once you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, transfer to Bus 147 or 245 towards 'Zoologischer Garten'. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at 'Rotes Rathaus'. The Rotes Rathaus will be directly in front of you.

    Start your journey at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Take the RE1 train towards Brandenburg an der Havel. After about 30 minutes, get off at Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Exit the station and walk towards the 'Reichstag' building. From there, you can walk to 'Rotes Rathaus', which is approximately a 20-minute walk east along the Spree River.
