If you are starting from the Rostock Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head east on Grubenstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Breite Straße. Turn left onto Breite Straße, which will lead you into the city center. Continue down Breite Straße until you reach the historic market square, Neuer Markt, located directly ahead.

From Rostock Central Station, take tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Dierkow' or 'Rostock-Warnemünde'. Get off at the 'Neuer Markt' stop, which is just a short walk from the square itself. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the square, and you will find Neuer Markt directly in front of you.

If you are at the University of Rostock, exit the university grounds and head south on Universitätsplatz towards the city center. Continue straight onto Albertstraße, which will lead you down to the historic city center. As you approach the end of Albertstraße, Neuer Markt will be visible ahead, just a short walk away.
