If you are driving to Marktplatz in Düsseldorf from Taunus, take the A3 highway towards Düsseldorf. Follow the signs for A52 and then merge onto A46. Continue on A46 until you reach the exit for the city center. Once you exit, follow the signs for Innenstadt. You can find parking in various garages nearby, such as 'Parkhaus Altstadt' or 'Parkhaus am Rathaus'. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €2-€3 per hour.

To reach Marktplatz via public transportation from Taunus, first locate the nearest train station, either in Bad Soden or Königstein. Take the S-Bahn (S3 or S4) towards Frankfurt, then transfer at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main station) to the S-Bahn line S11 towards Düsseldorf. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. From there, take tram line 701 or 707 towards 'Düsseldorf Altstadt' and disembark at the 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' stop, which is a short walk to Marktplatz. A single ticket for the train and tram costs around €5.
