The Geopark Großziethen Visitor and Information Center, nestled in the historic Alte Dampfmühle (Old Steam Mill), offers an immersive journey into the Ice Age. Located on the edge of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site Buchenwald Grumsin, the center features three floors of exhibitions detailing the formation of the landscape and the evolution of flora and fauna since the last glacial period. A single bus fare costs approximately €3-5. Alternatively, take the train to Joachimsthal and then Bus 920 to Groß-Ziethen.

From the A11 motorway, take the Joachimsthal exit and follow the B198 towards Angermünde. Drive to Groß-Ziethen. The Visitor Center is located on Zur Mühle 51. Free parking is available at the Geopark, with approximately 50 spaces. During peak season, parking may be limited.
