Walking
From Main Street, head north, following signs for the Moorish Castle and Upper Rock Nature Reserve. The Castle Steps are located near the junction of Castle Street, Castle Ramp, and Hospital Ramp. The walk from Main Street to the base of the steps takes approximately 15-20 minutes. There is no cost associated with walking to the entrance of the Castle Steps.
Public Transport
Take bus routes 1, 5, M-120, M-240, or N1 to the Artillery Arms bus stop, the closest to Castle Steps. From the bus stop, it is a short 2-minute walk to the steps. Bus fare is approximately £1.50.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Gibraltar. A taxi from the Gibraltar border or the city center to the base of Castle Steps will cost approximately £5-£10. Ensure the taxi driver is aware of the exact location, as there are several streets with 'Castle' in their name.
