From the entrance of St. Michael's Cave, head south towards the main path leading down the Rock of Gibraltar. Follow the path as it winds down, keeping the cave entrance behind you. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the road. At the junction, turn left onto the road and follow it until you reach the bus stop for the 2 or 3 bus routes.
Bus
At the bus stop near St. Michael's Cave, board either the 2 or 3 bus. These buses will take you towards the center of Gibraltar. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the 'Market Place' stop. Disembark here.
Walking
Once you exit the bus at 'Market Place', head north towards Main Street. Walk along Main Street, which is the main shopping area in Gibraltar. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of Main Street and the junction with the road leading towards the Spanish border.

At the junction, you will see signs pointing towards Genalguacil. Follow the signs as you walk towards the direction of the Genalguacil trailhead. This path may lead you through some scenic areas, so enjoy the views as you proceed.
