Car
If you are driving, head towards the city center of Athens. From Syntagma Square, take Amalias Avenue (Λεωφόρος Αμαλίας) and continue onto Vasilissis Sofias Avenue (Λεωφόρος Βασιλίσσης Σοφίας). Turn right onto Kifisias Avenue (Λεωφόρος Κηφισίας), then left onto Alexandras Avenue (Λεωφόρος Αλεξάνδρας). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Patission Street (Οδός Πατησίων) and turn right. Follow Patission until you reach the junction with Tritis Septemvriou Street (Οδός Τρίτης Σεπτεμβρίου) and continue straight. Finally, turn left onto Thissio Street (Οδός Θησείου) and follow the signs to the National Observatory of Athens, located at Λόφος Νυμφών, Athina 118 10. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that it may incur fees depending on the location.

Public Transportation - Metro
To reach the National Observatory of Athens using the metro, make your way to any metro station in Athens and take Line 1 (Green Line) towards Kifisia. Get off at the 'Thissio' station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the entrance of the Ancient Agora and head up the hill towards the observatory. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. Ensure you purchase a ticket for the metro which costs around €1.20 per ride.

Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch any bus that goes to Thissio, such as the 049 or 227 lines. Board the bus and get off at the 'Thissio' stop. From there, walk uphill towards the National Observatory, which should take you around 10-15 minutes. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.20 and can be purchased at kiosks or directly from the bus driver.

Walking
If you are already in the Thissio area, the National Observatory of Athens is easily reachable by walking. Simply head towards the hill where the Observatory is located from any nearby point in Thissio. Look for signs directing you to Λόφος Νυμφών, where the observatory entrance is situated. The walk should not take more than 10 minutes.
