From the central bus station in Chania (Ktel Chania), take a local bus towards Agios Nikolaos. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for Plaka Beach. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs towards Plaka Beach, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. You will walk through the village of Plaka and then descend towards the beach.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the center of Chania to Plaka Beach. Taxis are readily available throughout the city. The journey will take around 30 minutes, and it's advisable to confirm the fare before you start your trip. Just tell the driver 'Plaka Beach' (Πλάκα) and they will take you directly to your destination.

For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Chania and cycle towards Plaka Beach. Start from the Old Town and head east towards the coast. Follow the coastal road (EO90) until you reach the village of Plaka. The ride is approximately 15 km and will take about 1 hour. Be cautious of traffic, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
