From Samos Town, head to the central bus station located near the port. Look for the bus to Pythagorio, as this is the main route. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride that takes approximately 30 minutes. Alight at Pythagorio. From there, you will need to walk towards the harbor and catch a local ferry to the nearby island of Ag. Nikolaos, which is approximately 20 minutes away. Upon arrival, follow the signs towards Avlaki beach, which will be a short 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal.

If you are already in Pythagorio or Samos Town, you can take a ferry directly to Ag. Nikolaos. The ferry departs regularly throughout the day, so check the local schedule for timings. Once you arrive at Ag. Nikolaos, the beach is easily accessible. Simply follow the coastal pathway from the ferry dock, and you will reach Avlaki beach in about 10 minutes on foot.

If you're staying in Ag. Nikolaos, you can walk to Avlaki beach. Start from the main square of Ag. Nikolaos, head south towards the coast, and follow the signs along the waterfront.
