Bus
From the center of Heraklion, head to the main bus station located at 26th October Street. Look for the bus heading towards Agios Nikolaos or Ierapetra and get on. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for Karidi. The bus ride should take about 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards the main road and follow the signs to Areti Monastery, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
