From Corfu Town, head to the main bus station located at the end of the main street (Agiou Spyridonos). Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to the village of Benitses. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Benitses, get off the bus and wait for the next bus towards Moraitika. This bus will take you towards the southern part of the island, and you should disembark at the stop for Gardiki. From the bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Byzantine Fortress of Gardiki, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill.

If you are near the village of Moraitika, you can walk to the Byzantine Fortress of Gardiki. Start from the center of Moraitika and head south on the main road towards the village of Melitiei. Follow the signs that indicate the direction of Gardiki. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes. As you approach Melitiei, keep an eye out for the fortress on the hill; it is visible from a distance. The path can be steep in places, so wear comfortable shoes.
