Public Transport
From Rethymno, take the KTEL bus towards Agia Galini; the bus stops in Spili. The journey takes approximately 40-60 minutes. From the Spili bus stop, walk along the main road (Epar.Od. Rethimou-Agias Galinis) for about 10 minutes to reach the Fontana dei Leoni, which will be on your left as you head south. Bus fare is approximately €3.5.
Walking
From anywhere in Spili, the Fontana dei Leoni is easily accessible on foot as it's located in the center of the village. Follow signs towards the main square; the fountain is impossible to miss. As Spili has steep, narrow streets, wear comfortable walking shoes.
Driving
From Rethymno, drive south on the Epar.Od. Rethimou-Agias Galinis. The journey to Spili takes around 30 minutes. Upon entering Spili, follow the main road; the Fontana dei Leoni is located in the central square. Parking is available in a parking lot near the main square. Parking is generally free, but it is advisable to arrive early during peak tourist seasons to secure a spot.
