Public Bus
If you are in Heraklion city center, head to the central bus station, located near the Liontaria square. Take the local bus line that heads towards Leof. Nearchou. The bus stop is clearly marked. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Venetian Shipyards' stop. From the bus stop, you can walk approximately 5 minutes to the Venetian Shipyards, following the road along the waterfront.
Walking
If you are near the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, you can walk to the Venetian Shipyards. Head down A. Koryzi street towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach Leof. Nearchou. The Venetian Shipyards will be on your left, just a short 15-minute walk from the museum.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi in Heraklion city. Just look for a taxi stand or hail one on the street. Tell the driver to take you to 'Leof. Nearchou' or 'Venetian Shipyards'. The ride typically takes around 10 minutes depending on traffic and costs approximately 10 euros.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, there are several bicycle rental shops in Heraklion. Rent a bike and head towards the harbor. Follow the road along the waterfront, which will lead you directly to Leof. Nearchou. It’s a pleasant ride that should take about 20 minutes.
