Car
If you are driving from any location in Euboea, first head towards the city of Chalkida. From Chalkida, take the E65 road towards the town of Eretria and then follow the signs for the E92 highway towards the mainland. Continue on the E92 until you reach the junction for the E65 towards Lamia. Take this road until you reach the town of Kalampaka. Once in Kalampaka, follow the signs to the Holy Monastery of the Great Meteoron, which is located at G, Kalampaka 422 00. The monastery is situated on a hill, so expect some winding roads. There is no entry fee, but parking may have a nominal fee depending on the season.

Public Transportation - Bus
To reach the Holy Monastery of the Great Meteoron via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Chalkida to Lamia. Buses run regularly throughout the day and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. From Lamia, transfer to a bus heading to Kalampaka. This leg of the journey will take an additional 2 hours. Once you arrive in Kalampaka, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes uphill) or take a local taxi to the monastery. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary, and be aware that bus fares are generally around 10-15 euros for the full journey.
