Bus
From the center of Ioannina, head to the central bus station (Ktel Ioannina) located at 1st of October Street. You can take a taxi or walk for about 15 minutes. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket to 'Kalarrites' or 'Metsovo' which are the nearest villages to the National Park of Tzoumerka, Peristeri & Arachthos Gorge. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as the frequency may vary.

Walking
After arriving at Kalarrites or Metsovo, you will need to walk to the entrance of the National Park. From Kalarrites, head northeast on the main road (E65) towards the park. It is approximately a 45-minute walk (around 6 km). Follow the signs towards the National Park. If you arrive at Metsovo, you may take a shorter 30-minute walk (around 4 km) towards the park, following the local roads leading to the entrance.

In Kalarrites or Metsovo, you can also look for local taxis or shuttle services that may take you directly to the entrance of the National Park. These services can be arranged at the bus station or through local hotels. Ensure to negotiate the fare before the trip.
