If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Sparta, which is a common starting point in the region. Head south on the E65 highway towards the town of Areopoli. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards 'Kyparissi' and follow the signs leading towards Kalamitsi Beach. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes as you approach the coast. Once you reach Kalamitsi, there are signs directing you towards the beach parking area. Keep in mind that parking might incur a fee, generally around €2-€5 for the day.

To reach Kalamitsi Beach via public transportation, take a bus from Sparta to Areopoli, which runs regularly throughout the day. The bus fare is approximately €5. Once you arrive in Areopoli, you'll need to catch another bus heading towards Kalamitsi. This bus is less frequent, so check the schedule in advance. The journey from Areopoli to Kalamitsi Beach takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Kalamitsi, follow the signs towards the beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
