Walking
From the center of Nafplio, head towards the bus station located at the square called 'Plateia Kapodistria'. Once you reach the bus station, look for the bus to Tripoli or Mantinia. These buses generally leave every hour. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Mantinia. After about 20-30 minutes, you will arrive at Mantinia village. After disembarking, you will need to walk towards the sinkhole. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the 'Sinkhole of Mantinean plain', which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

Start at the Nafplio central bus station (Plateia Kapodistria). Purchase a ticket for the next bus to Mantinia. This journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Mantinia, you'll find the sinkhole is a short walk from the bus stop. Head south on the main road, and after about 15 minutes, you should see signs leading to the Sinkhole of Mantinean plain.
