Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any point in the North Aegean region. Use the D550 highway, which connects various towns and cities in the region. Follow signs for Ayvalık. As you approach Ayvalık, take the exit toward Fevzipaşa-vehbibey. Continue on this road until you reach the coast area where you will find parking available. Note that parking fees may apply, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For public transportation, locate the nearest bus terminal in your area. Buses to Ayvalık are available from major towns like Çanakkale or İzmir. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic views on your way to Ayvalık. Upon arrival at the Ayvalık bus station, you can either walk (approximately 20-30 minutes) to the coast or take a local dolmuş (minibus) that frequently runs to the beach area. A dolmuş ride will typically cost around 10-15 Turkish Lira.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route after reaching Ayvalık by bus, you can take a taxi from the bus station to the Ayvalik Coast. Taxis are readily available, and the fare should be around 50-70 Turkish Lira depending on traffic and the exact location you are heading to on the coast.

• Bicycles

  For those who enjoy cycling, renting a bicycle is a great way to explore the Ayvalık Coast. There are several rental shops in the town. Make sure to check the rental fees, which typically range from 50-100 Turkish Lira per day, and enjoy a leisurely ride along the coast.
