Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Parikia, take the main road towards the south of the island. Follow the signs for Ios and Milopotas Beach. After approximately 10 kilometers, you'll reach a fork; keep left to stay on the main road. Continue for another 5 kilometers until you see signs for Paralia Milopotas. Turn left onto the road leading to the beach. There is parking available near the beach.

• Public Transportation

  From Parikia, head to the central bus station and catch a bus towards Pounta or Ios. The bus will take you directly to Milopotas Beach. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Milopotas stop, you will see signs for the beach; it's just a short walk down the road.

• Bicycle

  If you're renting a bicycle in Parikia, head south on the main road. Follow the same route as if you were driving. The ride is about 10 kilometers to the fork, then continue straight for another 5 kilometers. Be careful of traffic, and enjoy the scenic views along the way! Once you reach the beach, you can lock your bike nearby.

• Walking

  While it's quite a distance to walk from Parikia to Paralia Milopotas (approximately 15 kilometers), if you're feeling adventurous, start by walking south towards Aliki, then follow the coast road towards Milopotas. This route has beautiful views but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as it can take a few hours.
