    From the central square of Rethymno (Plateia 25 Martiou), head west on Sofokli Venizelou Street towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the Venetian Harbour. At the harbour, turn left and walk along the waterfront until you reach the end of the harbour. Then, follow the signs for Chania on the main road (E65). After about 5 minutes of walking, you'll reach the bus station where you can catch a bus to Chania. The ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once in Chania, get off at the stop closest to the Old Town. From there, walk towards Chalidon Street, and you will find the Catholicon of the Venetian Monastery of St. Francis located at 28, Chalidon St.

    Start from the center of Rethymno by walking to the main bus station located on the corner of Kountourioti and Papanikoli Street. Purchase a ticket to Chania. Buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive in Chania, make your way to the Old Town. Walk towards the harbor area. From the harbor, head to Chalidon Street and look for number 28. The Catholicon of the Venetian Monastery of St. Francis will be on your left.
