Walking
From the center of Rethymno, walk towards the Old Venetian Harbor. Head towards the beach area, and follow the coastline. As you stroll along the promenade, continue walking past the organized beach areas until you reach the quieter Mikro Ammoudi Beach, which is approximately 3-4 kilometers from the harbor. It may take around 40-50 minutes on foot. Look for signs or ask locals if you need directions along the way.

From Rethymno city center, you can take a local bus towards Plakias or Agia Galini. Board the bus at the central bus station (Ktel Rethymno). Inform the driver that you want to get off at Mikro Ammoudi Beach. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you will see signs directing you to the beach.
