From the center of Rethymno, start at the Venetian Harbor, which is a popular tourist spot. Head east along the waterfront promenade (Akti Koundourou). Continue walking until you reach the end of the harbor. From there, turn left onto the main road (Agiou Vasiliou Street). Keep walking straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Arkadiou Street. Turn right on Arkadiou Street and continue walking for about 300 meters.

At the next intersection, take a left onto Evaggelistrias Street. Follow this road for about 600 meters until you reach the beach area. You will see signs pointing towards Missiria beach and the coastline. Once you reach the beach area, you can follow the paths leading directly to Missiria beach, which is located at Kólpos Almyroú.

From Rethymno's central bus station (KTEL), take any bus heading towards the nearby towns of Platanes or Missiria. The buses are frequent and you can check the schedule at the station. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Missiria beach. From the bus stop, walk towards the beach, which is a short distance away.
