Walking
If you are in Fira, the capital of Santorini, head towards the main square, also known as Plateia Theotokopoulou. From the square, walk down the main street, known as 'Agiou Mina', heading towards the caldera views. Continue walking until you reach the edge of the cliff where you will see the cable car station signposted. The Lower Station is located at the base of the cliff near the Old Port. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

From Fira, you can take a public bus towards the Old Port. The bus stop is located near the main square. Board the bus that is headed to 'Fira to Old Port' and pay for your ticket (around 2 EUR). The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the Old Port, follow the signs to the Santorini Cable Car - Lower Station.

For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Santorini to the Old Port. Taxis are readily available in Fira. Just inform the driver that you want to go to the Santorini Cable Car - Lower Station at the Old Port. The ride will take around 10 minutes and cost approximately 10-15 EUR.
