Perched on the southwestern tip of Santorini, the Akrotiri Lighthouse offers stunning panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the caldera. Built in 1892 by a French trading company, it's one of the first lighthouses in Greece and a popular spot for sunset viewing, away from the Oia crowds.

Public Transport
From Fira, take the bus towards Akrotiri village. Note that the bus does not go directly to the lighthouse. From the Akrotiri village bus stop, you will need to take a taxi or walk approximately 5km to reach the lighthouse. Bus tickets from Fira to Akrotiri are around €2.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Fira and other parts of Santorini. A taxi directly from Fira to Akrotiri Lighthouse will cost approximately €25-30 and take around 25 minutes. A taxi from Akrotiri village to the lighthouse is about €16-€20.
Driving
From Fira, drive south towards Akrotiri village. Follow the signs to the Akrotiri Lighthouse. The drive is approximately 15 km and takes around 25 minutes. Parking is limited near the lighthouse, so it's best to park on the side of the road. There are no parking fees.
