Walking
Skaros Rock is accessible from Imerovigli. From the village center, follow the signs towards Skaros. The trail begins with a steep, winding staircase leading down from near the Grace Hotel. The path transitions to a gravel trail. The hike to the base of Skaros Rock takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. There is no entrance fee.
Public Transport
Take the local bus to Imerovigli. Imerovigli is the fourth stop on the Fira to Oia bus route. From the Imerovigli bus stop, walk towards the village center and follow the signs to Skaros Rock. The trailhead is about a 15-30 minute walk from the bus stop. Bus tickets from Fira to Imerovigli cost approximately €2-3. From the bus stop, follow the walking directions to reach Skaros Rock.
Taxi
Take a taxi to Imerovigli. From Imerovigli, walk towards the village center and follow the signs to Skaros Rock. The trailhead is about a 15-30 minute walk from where the taxi will drop you off. A taxi from Fira to Imerovigli costs approximately €40-55. From the drop-off point, follow the walking directions to reach Skaros Rock.
