Local buses connect Symi harbor (Gialos) with Chorio (Ano Symi), Pedi village, and Panormitis Monastery. The bus terminal is near the harbor. A one-way ticket to Chorio or Pedi costs around €2. The bus to Panormitis Monastery costs €4. Check the schedule at the terminal as it varies by season. This is a cost-effective way to reach different parts of the island.

Taxi

Taxis are available at Symi harbor, though in limited numbers. A ride from the harbor to Chorio costs approximately €10. To Pedi mountain, it's about €15. Pre-booking is recommended, especially during peak season or evenings. Ensure the price is agreed upon before departure. Taxis offer a convenient but pricier option for reaching destinations across the island.

Water Taxi

Water taxis depart from Symi harbor to various beaches along the coast, including Nos Beach, Agios Nikolaos, and Nanou. Return fares range from €11-€16, depending on the distance.
