Driving

From Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport, take Route 10A to Marine Corps Drive (Route 1). Turn left and continue for approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto Route 6 and travel approximately 4 miles. The overlook will be on the right. Parking is free.

From the airport, take a bus towards Hagåtña. Alight near the intersection of Route 1 and Route 8. Walk approximately 0.3 miles along Route 8 to the left until you reach the entrance to Asan Bay Overlook. Bus fare is around $2.

Bronze sculptures vividly depict the events that unfolded on Guam during the Japanese occupation from 1941 to 1944 and the subsequent Battle of Guam in 1944. The Memorial Wall lists the names of 1,880 U.S. servicemen who died on Guam, along with 1,170 Guam residents who perished and 14,721 who suffered atrocities during the war.Visitors can reflect on the sacrifices made while observing the terrain that U.S. Marines scaled to reclaim the high ground during the Battle of Guam. The overlook offers a serene space for remembrance, honoring the fallen and providing a place to contemplate the battlefields below. The site is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering free parking and paved walkways.
