The Aquarium of Guam offers an immersive underwater adventure, showcasing the diverse marine life of the Pacific Ocean. Opened in 1999, the aquarium is home to over 2,000 animals representing more than 80 species, many native to Guam and the surrounding Marianas Islands. The main attraction is a 319-foot-long acrylic tunnel, one of the longest in the world, that runs through an 800,000-gallon saltwater tank. Visitors can walk through the tunnel and observe sharks, stingrays, a green sea turtle, and giant groupers swimming around them. The second floor features exhibits with live corals, garden eels, moon jellyfish, and venomous lionfish. The Aquarium is dedicated to fostering a connection between people and the ocean.
