    From Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport, take Route 10A to Marine Corps Drive (Route 1). Turn left and drive approximately 5 miles, then turn left onto Route 6 and continue for about 4 miles. The overlook will be on the right. Parking is free.

    Take a bus from your location to the nearest bus stop on Marine Corps Drive. Transfer to a bus heading towards Route 1. Get off at the bus stop closest to Asan Beach Park and walk to the parking lot for Asan Bay Overlook. Bus fares average around $3 per ride.

Asan Bay Overlook offers visitors a serene and scenic location to reflect on Guam's history during World War II. Completed in 1994 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Guam, the overlook serves as a memorial to those who perished or endured hardships during the war. From this vantage point, you can see the seaside villages of Asan and Piti, as well as the landing beaches used by U.S. forces during the Battle of Guam. The overlook features landscaped walkways, a viewing platform with historical photos, and bronze sculptures depicting events on Guam during the Japanese occupation from 1941 to 1944 and the Battle of Guam in 1944. The Memorial Wall displays the names of 1,880 U.S. servicemen who died on Guam, along with 1,170 Guam residents who died during the war, and 14,721 who suffered atrocities. The park provides a peaceful setting for contemplation and remembrance.
