    From Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport, take Route 10A to Marine Corps Drive (Route 1). Turn left and continue for approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto Route 6 and travel about 4 miles. The overlook will be on the right. Parking is free.

    From the airport, take the bus towards Hagatna. Alight at the bus stop closest to Route 8. From there, transfer to another bus heading towards Maina. Get off at the stop nearest to FP68. Walk for about 0.2 miles down FP68 to reach Asan Bay Overlook on your left. The bus fare is approximately $2.

Asan Bay Overlook, part of the War in the Pacific National Historical Park, provides a tranquil space for reflection and remembrance. Completed in 1994, the overlook commemorates the lives lost and the atrocities suffered during World War II, particularly during the Battle of Guam. From this hilltop vista, visitors can see sweeping views of Asan and Agana, offering an aerial perspective of the landing beaches used by U.S. Marines. Landscaped walkways lead to a viewing platform adorned with historical photos and commemorative bronze sculptures depicting events on Guam during the Japanese occupation and the 1944 battle. The Memorial Wall lists the names of 1,880 U.S. servicemen, 1,170 Guamanians who died, and 14,721 who suffered atrocities during the war. Asan Bay Overlook is open 24 hours a day, offering a place to experience a solemn and reverent space where one can remember the fallen and reflect on the battlefields below.
