Getting There

  • Car

    From Umatac Bay, head southeast on Route 2 (also known as the Marine Drive) towards Inalåhan. Continue on Route 2 for approximately 5.5 miles (about 10-15 minutes) until you reach the junction with Bear Rock Lane. Turn left onto Bear Rock Lane. Follow this road as it winds for about 1 mile. You will find a small parking area near the base of Bear Rock. Make sure to park responsibly.

  • Public Transportation

    Catch a bus heading south towards Inalåhan. Buses run periodically from Umatac Bay to Inalåhan. Once you arrive at the Inalåhan bus stop, you will need to walk towards Bear Rock Lane. The walk is about 1 mile, so be prepared for a short hike. You’ll have to navigate through local roads to get to Bear Rock Lane, which should be visible from the main road. Follow Bear Rock Lane for about half a mile until you reach the parking area at the base of Bear Rock.
