    Discover more about Taga'chang Beach

Taga'chang Beach, located on the southeast side of Guam in the village of Yona, is a serene and relatively untouched coastal haven. Away from the bustling tourist areas, this beach offers a peaceful retreat with its picturesque views and calm waters. The beach features a mix of soft, white sands and rocky areas, bordered by dramatic cliffs covered in lush greenery. The turquoise waters are generally calm due to an outer reef, creating a safe environment for swimming and snorkeling, especially for children and less experienced swimmers. However, it's important to stay close to the shore, as conditions beyond the reef can be treacherous. Taga'chang Beach is also known as Tagachang Swimming Hole by locals. It's a great spot for sunbathing, beachcombing, and enjoying the natural beauty of Guam. The beach faces east, making it a prime location to watch the sunrise paint the sky with vibrant colors. While amenities are limited to restroom facilities and pavilions, this helps preserve the beach's untouched charm. Visitors are advised to bring their own refreshments and essentials. While the beach is open from 6 AM to 6 PM, it is best enjoyed during daylight hours.
