    From the airport, take the bus from the airport to Hagatna Pool Terminal. Then, transfer to another bus to Asan Mayor's Office. From there, it is a walk to Asan Bay Overlook. Completed in 1994 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Guam, the overlook serves as a tribute to those who perished or suffered atrocities during World War II. From this vantage point, visitors can see the seaside villages of Asan and Piti, as well as an aerial perspective of the landing beaches where U.S. Marines fought to recapture Guam in 1944. The overlook features landscaped walkways, a viewing platform with historical photos, and bronze sculptures depicting events that occurred on Guam during the Japanese occupation from 1941 to 1944 and the ensuing Battle of Guam.
